We can learn from nature you how to live your life; it adapts to all seasons laying dormant in winter in order to survive the hardships of the weather when it is wet, cold or snowing and then it comes back from these hardships in spring and summer to bloom and grow once more. We can learn from nature to take all of life’s troubles and challenges and to wait for those times to pass, coming through those troubles into the warmth and caring of our friends and loved ones.
We find it truly joyful to watch our garden grow and it supplies us with the essential, natural ingredients that we use when making our Potpourri and Oils. The children take great pleasure in planting the seeds, nurturing and then picking the flowers and herbs that grow and preserving them at a crucial time so they can be enjoyed again and again in our beautiful products; some examples are shown below.
It gives the children a true understanding of the cycle of life and the gifts that Mother Earth gives to us.
